‘Great fish’ moves in large numbers… KBL announces results of autonomous negotiations with FA
In the men’s professional basketball free agent (FA) market, 29 out of 47 players have completed contracts.
The Korea Professional Basketball League (KBL) announced on the 22nd that “the 2023 free agent (FA) autonomous negotiations have ended.”
Of the 29 players who signed contracts, 15, including Ham Ji-hoon, Kim Hyun-min (Hyundai Mobis), Lee Dae-heon (Korea Gas Corporation), and Bae Byung-jun (KGC), renewed their contracts with their clubs and 14 transferred to other teams. Oh Se-geun and Moon Seong-gon, who contributed to KGC’s combined victory, moved to SK and KT, respectively, and Choi Jun-yong, who played only in SK after his debut, wore a KCC uniform.
The 13 players who could not sign a contract wait for letters of intent from 10 clubs from the 23rd to the 25th at noon. If multiple clubs submit a letter of intent, the player can choose the club regardless of the amount presented by the club.
On the other hand, if only one club submits a letter of intent, the player must sign a contract with that club. Players who have not received a letter of intent will proceed with renegotiation with the original club from the 26th to 30th noon.메이저사이트
Compensation player nomination under the FA applies only to transfers of players within the 30th place in the salary hierarchy (excluding those aged 35 or older). The player recruiting club must submit a list of protected players by 6:00 pm on the 26th, and the original club can exercise the right to nominate compensation players until 6:00 pm on the 28th.
Five of the free agent candidates announced their retirement. Yun Ho-young (DB), Jang Min-guk (Samsung), Jang Moon-ho, Jeon Jeon Jun (above SK), and Park Gyeong-sang (KCC) will end their careers as players this season.
